Abstract : The increasing demand of energy in the world led to increase consumption of fossil fuel; however, the disadvantageous of this fossil fuel lead scientist to find other green energy resources, one of which is solar energy. Indonesia has a tropical climate with huge potential energy source from solar energy. In particular, dye sensitized solar cell (DSSC), is a low cost third generation solar cell that can convert sun-light photon into electrical energy. In this research, a natural dye extracted at solvent pH variations from white dragon fruit (Hylocereus undatus) peels was used as a sensitizer in DSSC. The solvent pH variations were 1; 2; 3; 4; and 5. The extracted dye war characterized using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and ultraviolet visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy, whereas the performance of the extracted dye as sensitizer was examined using semiconductor parameter analyzer (SPA). The results how that the best pH for the extraction was at 5 with a power conversion efficiency of 2.954%. Keywords - Anthocyanin, DSSC, Dragon fruit peel, PCE
