Abstract : Abstract- The content based image retrieval (CBIR) is based on visual information retrieval and also giving query by image content. Which is one advance method of search analysis where the content of the image is given rather than keywords, tags, or descriptions associated with the image. Here the colors, shapes, textures, or any other information can be derived from the image itself and can be segmented in an efficient way by using 1) JSEG, 2) Blobworld method, 3) KMCC. This paper focus on a comparative study of these segmentation processes in order to retrieve better accuracy of the query image
