Abstract : In this paper, catalytic combustion of grape skins and scrapes has been performed in a conical spouted bed
combustor. Combustion has been carried out with inlet air temperature of 550 ºC using Pd/Al2O3 catalyst in the spouted bed
regime. Combustion efficiency has been calculated from the concentration of CO2, CO (% volume), monitorized by Testo 350
gas analyzer, in the exhaust gases.
