Abstract : Biologically synthesis of nanoparticles using by plant extracts is time and cost effective, eco-friendly and does not contain toxic chemicals. Present study revealed that, antibacterial, anti-fungal and cytotoxic effect of ZnONPs was synthesized using Viburnum opulus L. fruit extract. The most antibiotics have led to the development of resistance in microorganisms due to overuse. Investigations showed that breast cancer is the second most common cancer in women. So, the development of novel and ecofriendly drugs is of timely importance. In this research, the anticancer activity of biosynthesized ZnONPs from V.opulus L. fruit extracts on human SKBR-3 cells breast cancer cells was investigated. Biosynthesized ZnONPs effectively inhibited the growth of studied microorganisms. In detail, the MIC value of ZnONPs detected as value of 12.5 μgmL-1 against K.pneumoniae, 25 μgmL-1 against for B.cereus. Also, 25 μg concentrations per mL were sufficient for killing of E.aerogenes with ZnONPs. ZnONPs also effectively inhibited of C.albicans, C.glabrata, B.subtilis and P.aureginosa. This study concludes that the bio-synthesized ZnONPs may be used as an effective antimicrobial and anti-breast cancer agent. So, it can be projected as future generation antimicrobial agents and designing newer drugs. Keywords - Viburnum opulus L., Candida sp., Klepsiella pneumonia, Breast Cancer, Zinc-oxide Nanoparticle
