Abstract : In recent years, there has been an increase in fire damage worldwide. In addition to the 1999 Mont Blanc Tunnel Fire
in France, the most recent 2017 Grenfell Tower Fire in Britain exemplifies the importance of fire detection. Consequently, this
paper proposes a new fire detection algorithm based on the consensus algorithm to improve the existing fire detection
practices.
