Paper Title
Effect of Planting Density and Fertigation on Growth and Yield of Processing Tomato Varieties
Abstract
The var. Abhinav recorded the highest number of fruits per plant (241.09) till 120 DAT. Planting density at 60 cm
x 60 cm (S2) recorded significantly the highest number of fruits per plant (240.33) followed by 75 cm x 40 cm (S3) (219.82).
The lowest number of fruits per plant was recorded by the planting density at 120 cm x 40 cm (S1) (215.12). Application of
180N: 90P: 90K kg per ha (F3) recorded the highest number of fruits per plant (249.88) followed by 150N: 75P: 75K kg per
ha (F2) (225.51). The lowest number of fruits per plant (199.88) was recorded by the application of 120N: 60P: 60K kg per
ha (F1). Among two way interactions, the highest number of fruits per plant was recorded by the combination of planting
density of 60 cm x 60 cm plus application of 180N: 90P: 90K kg per ha (275.66) and that of Abhinav + 180N: 90P: 90K kg
per ha (258.68).
