Paper Title
Preparation of Magnetic Silica Particles for Drug Delivery and Magnetic Hyperthermia Applications

Abstract
The fabrication of nanomaterials with multifunctionality is an attractive approach to be utilized them in cancer therapy. Herein, we fabricated a magnetic mesoporous organosilica material in which the magnetic Fe 3 O 4 nanoparticles were directly integrated into the mesoporous silica pore wall frameworks rather than pore channel surfaces. The hybrid magnetic mesoporous organosilica materials were synthesized by cocondensation method by combining the Fe 3 O 4 -dopamine complexation technique and traditional mesoporous silica material synthesis processes. The prepared hybrid magnetic FeNP@DPU@MMOS material is desirable for drug delivery system and magnetic hyperthermia agent in cancer therapy. The mesoporous structural properties, drug loading/release behavior, magnetic hyperthermia ability, in vitro cytotoxicity and intracellular uptake behavior of the synthesized FeNP@DPU@MMOS materials were investigated.
