Paper Title
Remediation of Arsenic (III) ions from Water using Graphene-Based Materials

Abstract
Abstract - The exposure to arsenic (As) though water is a matter of immense concern as it can cause an irreversible impairment in living organisms. Recently various materials have been explored for removal of arsenic ions from aqueous systems through adsorption. Nanomaterials due to their unique properties such as high surface area, better active sites are being widely using by different researchers to get the promising results for removal of contaminants from water. In this study, we have compared the efficiency of different pristine and modified graphenebased (GB) materials used for remediation of arsenic (III) ions from water in different conditions. Influential variables including adsorbent dose, initial arsenic ion concentration, temperature, pH, and time of contact for each adsorbent have also been taken into consideration for performance analysis and comparison. Challenges in terms of synthesis, cost, toxicity and regeneration of adsorbent are also discussed. Keywords - Arsenic; Graphene; Health Effects; Water; Remediation; Toxicity
