Paper Title
Effect of Silver Nitrate Concentration and Temperature on Biosynthesis of Silver Nano Particles using ‘Aspergillus Fumigatus’
Abstract
In this study silver nanoparticles have been synthesized using the fungi ‘Aspergillus Fumigatus’ with different
silver nitrate concentrations including 0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2mM. Also the effect of temperature on the amount of synthesized
silver nanoparticles has been investigated. Four samples in the same conditions was agitated in different temperatures
including 25˚C, 30˚C, 35˚C, 40˚C ,45˚C. Silver nanoparticles formation has been confirmed using UV-visible
spectrophotometer. UV-vis spectrum of aqueous medium containing silver nanoparticles showed a peak around 420nm
corresponding to the plasmon absorbance of silver nanoparticles. The size and morphology of the particles have been
investigated using transmission electron microscope (TEM). According to UV-visible spectrums and TEM micrographs
the optimized silver nitrate concentration was 1.5mM and the appropriate temperature was 40˚C.
