Perception Humanized-Cared Behaviors of Nursing Students of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Ratchaburi

Abstract
The study aimed to investigate humanized care behaviors of the nursing students of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Ratchaburi (BCNR) perceived by the nursing students, nursing instructors, preceptors, and clients. The study was a descriptive study using quantitative methods. The participants were composed of ; 1) 603 BCNR nursing students year 1, 2, 3, and 4 studying in human, health, and environment and the practicum nursing courses in academic year 2016, 2) 36 BCNR nursing instructors teaching human, health, and environment and the practicum nursing courses in health care services, 3) 215 preceptors working for the health care services in which the nursing students practiced in academic year 2016, and 4) 312 clients serviced by the nursing students at least three days in the health care services. The instruments were the humanized care questionnaires perceived by the nursing students, nursing instructors, preceptors, and clients that the researchers developed by using graduate identity frame, humanized care concept of Praboromrajchanok Institute (PBRI) The reliability of those perceived by the student, instructor, preceptors, and clients were confirmed by using Cronbach’scoefficience at 0.81, 0.83, 0.79, and 0.85, respectively. The researchers analyzed the data using descriptive statistics, frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Findings: Humanized health care behaviors perceived by the nursing students year 3 were rated at very good level ( x = 4.56,SD=0.60).The nursing students year 4, 2, and 1 rated humanized care behaviors in good levels ( x = 4.48,SD=0.54, x = 4.43,SD=0.58, x = 4.41,SD=0.51).Humanized health care behaviors perceived by the nursing instructors were rated at good level ( x = 4.60,SD=0.44). As well as, the humanized care behaviors of nursing students year 2,1 and 4 were rated at good levels( x = 4.43,SD=0.47, x = 4.37,SD=0.45, x = 4.26,SD=0.04). Humanized health care behaviors of the nursing students year 4 perceived by the preceptors were rated at good level ( x = 4.27,SD=0.57). Similarly, those of nursing students year 3 and 2 were rated at good levels ( x = 4.21,SD=0.60, x = 4.18,SD=0.68). Humanized health care behaviors perceived by the clients were rated at good level ( x = 4.57,SD=0.58). Those of nursing students year 4, 2, and 1 were rated at good levels ( x = 4.51,SD=0.45, x = 4.47,SD=0.55, x = 4.46,SD=0.53). Key words - Humanized care, nursing, teaching
