Paper Title
Physicochemical Properties of Sea Water Collected from Sikka, Gujarat

Abstract
In present paper we have reported the temporal and spatial distribution of different physiochemical parameters such as Salinity, DO, COD, Turbidity, Conductivity, and Total Dissolved Solids and Total Suspended Solids of Sea Water collected from different points of Sikka , Jamnagar Gujarat, (India). There are many industries in the vicinity and many more will come up in nearer future. Samples were collected during 28 July 2016 to 29 July 2016 and where analyzed for the parameter as per the test methods agreed as mentioned in Standard Methods for the examination of Water & Waste Water, prepared and published jointly by American Public Health Association (APHA), American Water Works Association (AWWA) & Water Environment Federation (WEF). The pH of water was found alkaline. The Salinity, Conductance, were changes in low tide and high tide, at different location of sample collection. The DO level was found to be 6 ppm to 7.2 ppm . TDS values were change with high tide and low tide with six different locations of sample collection. The result indicated that TSS, DO, COD, Salinity, Conductivity, changes with high tide and low tide and we have tried to correlate all the results with the possible sources of pollution. Key Words- Sea Water, DO, COD, Salinity and Total Suspended Solids
