A Stability Analysis of Stagnation-Point Flow of Heat and Mass Transfer Over A Shrinking Sheet with Radiation and Slip Effects

Abstract
The problem of the steady two dimensional stagnation-point flow of heat and mass transfer over a shrinking sheet with the effect of radiation and velocity slip is studied. The nonlinear partial differential equations are transformed into nonlinear ordinary differential equations via similarity transformations. The transformed governing equations are then solved numerically using the bvp4c which is the boundary value problem solver in MATLAB software. Dual solutions are obtained. Therefore, a stability analysis is performed to determine which solution is linearly stable and physically realizable.
