Abstract : In this research paper, nutrients appropriate for individuals who participate in sports are described, together with
the appropriate amounts of such nutrients to athletics and their importance to human being’ bodies. To ensure that the
players observe sports nutrition, the study determines the extent of knowledge the sports participants have on sports
nutrition. The foods that provide such nutrients are also discussed, along with the percentage of such nutrients in each food
groups. The relation of these food groups to sports performance will be discussed and then conclusions drawn from
experiments.
