Paper Title :
Certifying an Interoperable Model of Personal Health Records for Multiple Sclerosis Patients

Author :Baydaa Al-Hamadani, Raad Alwan

Article Citation :Baydaa Al-Hamadani ,Raad Alwan , (2017 ) " Certifying an Interoperable Model of Personal Health Records for Multiple Sclerosis Patients " , International Journal of Advances in Science, Engineering and Technology(IJASEAT) , pp. 12-15, Volume-5, Issue-3

Abstract : In the Middle East, Multiple Sclerosis (MS) disease is considered to be of high risk during the last five years. It causes types of disorders in motion, vision, and controlling. Current Personal Health Records (PHR) are created and maintained completely by the patient, which make it almost impossible to be done by MS patients. This paper proposes a model to narrow the gap between Electronic Health Records (EHR) and PHR by certifying the interoperability between them. Ontology engineering is used to assess this function and make it possible for both, patients and care providers, to maintain the patient’s record. Keywords- Multiple Sclerosis (MS), interoperability, Ontology, mapping.
