Abstract : Strain-induced magnetism in nickel gas turbine blade was observed after high temperature severe deformation. Appearance of the ferromagnetic ordering in the paramagnetic blade feather was associated with the magnetic clusters inside of the intermetallic Ni3Al phase cuboids. The change of the magnetic susceptibility values correlate with the change of the dynamic stress level and the number of the stacking faults defects in the different parts of the blade.
