Abstract : This research discuss about teaching cupping therapy or hijama by using an online 3D Virtual Learning
Environment. The experimental platform was using of flash and Second Life as 2D and 3D comparison. 81 samples has been
use in three experiments with 21 in the first and 30 in each second and third. The design of the presentation was tested in five
categories such as effectiveness, ease of use, efficacy, aesthetic and users’ satisfaction. The results from three experiments
had shown promising outcome for usage of the technique to be implement in teaching Cupping Therapy as well as other
alternative or conventional medicine knowledge especially for training.
