Article Citation :Amnah Bindakheel , (2020 ) " Adoption of Information Systems at Hospital: A Case Study of King Khalid University Hospital (KKUH ) " , International Journal of Advances in Science, Engineering and Technology(IJASEAT) , pp. 72-76, Volume-8,Issue-4

Abstract : The goal of this case study was to determine the adoption of ICT (Information Communication Technology) in healthcare at The King Khalid University Hospital (KKUH). The data were gathered using interviews as a qualitative approach. This includes conducting interviews and discussion group among 40 respondents who are mainly staff of the hospital (Managers, administrative, IT personal). This case study is deemed significant. in light of the limited amount of literature evaluating the impact of ICT in hospital settings in Saudi Arabia, the completion of this study may shed more information and analytical knowledge for scholars, researchers and clinical managers. The study was conducted based on the outcome of an earlier study which indicated that the adoption of ICT at Saudi Arabia hospitals was affected by many factors. Moreover, end-users of ICT are said to have encountered many challenges while using this technology. At the same time, there are many benefits which can be gained from the use of ICT such as improvement in work quality, productivity, and educational tools for both users and patients particularly at KKUH.
