Paper Title
Species Diversity and Abundance of Migratory Birds along Mangrove Nature Trail in Mangrove Natural School of Bang Kaew Sub-district, Muang District, Samut Songkhram Province, Thailand

Abstract
The mangrove nature trail in the mangrove natural school,Bang Kaew sub-district, Muang district, Samut Songkhram province, Thailand is near the Inner Gulf of Thailand that are places of foraging for manymigratory birds. The objectives of this research were to study species diversity, abundance, feeding behaviorandgroup of migratory birds in the research area. The data was carried out by field survey of species diversity and abundance of birds which foraged inthe mangrove nature trail namely mangrove forest, planted mangrove forest and mudflat in the mangrove natural school, Bang Kaew sub-district, Muang District, Samut Songkhram Province, Thailand from August 2016 - May 2017. The data were analyzed to find out abundance ofbirds. The results found that 5 orders, 7 families and 25 bird species were found in the mangrove forest, planted mangrove forest and mudflat in the mangrove natural school. 4 orders, 4 families and 7 bird species were found in mangrove forest. 3 orders, 5 families and 17 bird species were found in planted mangrove forest. 4 orders, 6 families and 24 bird species were found in mudflat .According to bird abundance, 2 bird species were in level 5of bird abundance. It was 8.00 % of all bird species. According to feeding behavior, there were 15 aquatic, benthic invertebrate feeding birds, 9 piscivorous birds and 1 insectivorous birds. According to group of migratory birds, there were 15 shore birds, 4 sea birds, 3 terrestrial birds and3 predator birds. According to threaten Status, Eastern Black-tailed Godwit, Rednecked Stint,Curlew Sandpiper and Eurasian Curlew were near-threatened (NT).And Christmas Island Frigatebird was critically endangered (CR). So the communities should give their hands to conserve the coastal land and biodiversity continuously, because the birds are indicators of natural balance and plenty of food in local ecosystem.
