Abstract
This study sought to develop an Employee Portal at the Tarlac College of Agriculture with Human Resource Information System (HRIS), Inventory and Property Management Information System (IPMIS) and Payroll System (PS) that will help the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) in the updating of personal data sheet (PDS), computation of service records and generating of employee profile. The HR Personnel will lessen their time in the updating of employee records and provide faster report of employee’s service records. The Property and Supply Management Office (PSMO) will benefit from the developed system since this could lessen their time in the recording of issued properties. The TCA Employees will benefit from the developed system since it would provide faster and reliable transactions particularly in the requisition of human resource services. The development of the System with Employee Portal used the Rapid Application Development (RAD) software engineering paradigm as a guide in developing and improving the capability of the proposed system. It was evaluated by Information Technology (IT) Experts based on User Interface, Functionality, Database Design and Security. Employees evaluated the Employee Portal based on its Ease of Use, Reliability, Usability and Security. While the system users evaluated it based on its Ease of Use, Reliability, Accuracy, Functionality, and Security. Results showed that the development of HRIS, IPMS, and PS were done through Specification and Implementation. The IT Experts evaluated the Integrated System with Employee Portal based on User Interface and described it as Excellent. In terms of its functionality, it was described as Excellent. In terms of Database Design, and Security, experts claimed that the Integrated System with Employee Portal is Excellent and Highly Acceptable. Based on the judgments of the User, it was revealed that the Integrated System with Employee Portal is Excellent based on Ease of Use. It shows that the User is satisfied with the Reliability of the System and found it to be Highly Acceptable. The Systems Accuracy, Functionality and Security were all evaluated by User and found to be Excellent and Highly Acceptable. The employees evaluated the Employee Portal based on the Ease of Use and described it as Excellent. The systems Reliability were found to be Excellent, together with Usability and Security, respectively. The employee evaluated the Employee Portal as Excellent and Highly Acceptable. It was proposed that the Administration should allocate fundson upgrading of the software and hardware. Keywords- system; portal; process;
