A total of 148 respondents, who were of reproductive age ranging from 16-45 years old, were interviewed. Data collected were analyzed using the following statistical tools, frequency, percentage, weighted mean, Pearsons correlation coefficient, Spearman correlation coefficient, point bi-serial correlation coefficient, chi-square test, Cramer’s contingency coefficient Result: This study showed that the higher the respondent’s age, the higher is their compliance to the family planning method. General knowledge on family planning was associated with their compliance. Availability, accessibility and affordability of contraceptives did not significantly influence the women’s adherence.
