Study on Multiple Intelligences Among Adolescent Girls in Chennai
Abstract
The study focuses on the multiple intelligences among adolescent girls. The study used the census method of
sampling with a sample 96 adolescent girls from the age group of 12-19 in Chennai. The study adopted multiple intelligence
inventory by Walter Mc Kenzie to assess the multiple intelligences of the respondents. The study revealed that the multiple
intelligences predominantly fall equally in all the nine categories of the multiple intelligences. The results from the t-test
revealed that there is significant difference between age, educational status and marital status of the respondents with their
multiple intelligences and the results from the correlation reveal that there is significant relationship between overall
multiple intelligences of the respondent and their individual sections of multiple intelligences.
