Osteoarthritis Disease Diagnosis With The Help Of Pixel Based Segmentation And SVM Classifier
Main aim of this study is to detect the osteoarthritis (OA) disease with the help of pixel based image segmentation
and Support Vector Machine (SVM) classifier. This method is applied on magnetic resonance imaging of knee joints.
Cartilage is segmented with the help of different techniques like thresholding, noise removing etc. image processing
techniques. From segmented image texture, statistical and shape features are calculated. The SVM get trained using this
features which gives the result as normal or OA affected.
