Elaboration and Characterizations of Graphene

In this work, we presented an experimental study of the structural, optical and electrical properties of graphene nanometer thin layer; the material is more and more interesting for researchers. We prepared graphene thin films by the HOPG graphite direct mechanical exfoliation technique, which is the most used in the field of research on this material. The graphene thin films structural characterization was established by the X-ray diffraction, optical measurements by spectrophotometry, and the electrical measurements using Hall Effect. The characterizations results were compared with other previous works. They are interesting and stimulate further research on this topic.
