Application of Optimality Criteria and Mathematical Programming Methods for Structural Design
Numerical studies on the structural optimization by using one of the most advanced sequential quadratic programming
algorithms have been carried out. The software for the structural optimization that include various types of constraints
and design variables has been developed. It is shown that the method of sequential quadratic programming can be
efficiently used in problems of structural and multidisciplinary design with a sufficiently large number of design variables.
