Paper Title
Carboxymethylcellulose Coated Copper-Based Metal-Organic Framework- Nanohybrid as Drugdelivery Agent

Abstract
In this work, Cu-based metal-organic framework-drug (Cu-MOF-Drug) nanohybrid protected with pH-sensitive carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) biopolymer synthesized. Ibuprofen (IBU) as a model drug was loaded into two-dimensional tunnels and empty face-centered cubic (FCC) cubes of Cu-MOFs porous through immersing of Cu-MOF in the drug solution. For demonstrating the efficiency of the prepared novel hydrogel bead as an in vitro controlled drug delivery system, the drug delivery experiments carried out in simulating the gastrointestinal tract conditions. The drug release tests showed that the CMC encapsulated Cu-MOF-IBU nanohybrid has a better protection against stomach pH and extended the stability of drug dosing indeed it provides controlled releases in the gastrointestinal tract conditions.
